Hop 'n' Shop Bus
The Hop 'n' Shop is a bus service operated by BATS which serves to provide members with access to local supermarkets, shops, markets and occasional out-of-borough trips on selected days. It is available to all members.
Members are picked-up and dropped-off as close to their home as is possible. It is also possible to book, in advance, a volunteer shopper to help members with shopping and carrying of bags.
Members can book a place on the Hop 'n' Shop bus by telephone from the monthly itinerary sent to them which offers trips to shopping centres, markets and supermarkets on a first come first served basis.

*The Hop'n'Shop Service on Monday and Thursday operates in Thamesmead to take Gallions Housing Trust tenants to shopping opportunities in Abbey Wood, Thamesmead and Woolwich town centres. The Service is free to Gallions Housing Trust tenants and will continue for the next 2-3 year period while the local shops at Tavy Bridge are being demolished and rebuilt.
Fare
A single fare on the Hop 'n' Shop bus is £2.00.
You cannot purchase tickets from the Bus Driver.
Tickets are available for purchase from the BATS office, where members are able to buy books of tickets at a cost of £20.00 (10 tickets).
